My exploration of social media is somewhat limited. I know that Linkedin, Facebook and Twitter are used for buisness but it seems that they are also used for personal postings as well. I've only delved into Facebook extensively on a social level.
I had a business for seven years. I created a Facebook page but I ended up closing my business before I knew how to take social media to the next level. I also had my business listed on Linkedin but never quite invested the time to understand what that whole platform was about. Both pages are still up, just not active. Chrysalis Spa is how it is listed. I see there is a great need for businesses to be serviced by a contractor for social media.
It seems there are numerous sites to help with business as well as personal. I'm just not up to date yet. I certainly look forward to this class helping me to take everything to the next level. I would like to be able to hire out my services to maintain social media for businesses as well as covering their needs for other forms of advertizing.
